This very special dog is part of an Italian water rescue team.

I was asked to work from a photograph. I created a clay model to work out the pose and fit the scale to the lime wood block, joined down the centre with some friendly help. I am also grateful for the ingenious and versatile new mini bench I bought from a very clever retiring carver!
